My boyfriend bought me flowers the other day, and had them delivered to my house. They are still beautiful, even four days later! The thing that wasn't so beautiful, the free vase that came along with it. Although each bouquet can't have its own personalized, brightly colored vase (not to mention its a free vase, so who's complaining?), you can jazz your vases up a little. Putting your own personal touches on plain vases gives you more options for each vase, and also prevents you from accumulating hundreds of various vases. I simply grabbed some ribbon from my vast collection, and tied it around the vase.
I didn't even try to make a bow, or anything fancy. I went with more of the, "Hey, I have some ribbon laying around, maybe I'll tie it on that vase" kind of feel.
Stop and smell the roses!

The day I've been waiting for ALL summer: the day the new fall 2010 Vera Bradley patterns come out! They came out early this morning (like at 2AM!) and are a part of Vera Bradley's 'Be Colorful' campaign. along with their bright colors, the patterns came with super cute names: Barcelona, Hello Dahlia!, Slate Blooms, and Very Berry Paisley.
